I am a car (and machinery in general) fanatic to the point of really pissing of my missus and daughter because I'm always wathcing shows like American Hot Rod when they want the TV or have models being built or parts being casted? on the table which sometimes isn't appreciated (especially the smell of resins or singed epoxy molds etc) but what else cn you expect from girls?  I have been modeling for about 30 years although most of them have been broken, lost their shine etc due to uncovered display areas (or been blown up by fireworks when I was younger).  Although I was Initially an automotive mechanic I have worked in the refractory industry for about 6 years.  This job involves travelling around the country building and repairing blast furnaces, coke ovens etc and to give me something to do other than going to the pub while living away from home or in the times with no work  I got back into modelling.  My other main hobbies/toys are similar to my modeling interests but bigger and are a 1925 Chev street rod I've owned for about 20 years and a heavily modified 1969 mini Ive had for about 12.
